Since 1991, New Home Development Company (NHDC) has been the area's leader in the development and management of quality affordable housing units  and the provision of housing related services. Whether it is the development and construction of new housing,  the rehabilitation of existing housing units, or the administration of rent subsidy programs: NHDC strives to increase access to safe, decent, and affordable housing for adults recovering from mental illness. As a private, non-profit agency, NHDC has forged partnerships with federal, state, and local players, which have resulted in millions of dollars of investment throughout the four-county service area.
